Flow Artist. Insured Fire Dancer. Hoop Instructor.
Alexandra Inferna Flow is an insured, multi-prop fire and LED flow performer and hoop dance instructor in St. Petersburg, FL. With over 20 years of classical ballet and competitive dance training, she is fluent in many styles, including jazz, contemporary, classical ballet and pointe, musical theatre, hip-hop, and ballroom. Dance allowed her to travel and study with dance companies all around the United States, teach dance classes, choreograph award-winning dance pieces, and graduate from the University of South Florida with degrees in Dance and Marketing. Her love for music and art in the festival scene, along with her lifelong passion for dance, led her to hula hoop flow in March 2020. Soon after, she found a burning love for fire dancing with the hula hoop, iso hoops, fans, and palm torches. Her flow style incorporates fluid, yet strong and dynamic dance movements, with emphasis on the synchronicity with the music/style/character being performed. Her flow style is unique because it incorporates full body dance movements and patterns. Changes in dynamics, tempo, and energy are often seen through her body and prop manipulation. She currently teaches hoop dance classes and hosts Flow Nights bi-monthly at Java Kava Café in Largo, FL, and performs in local underground bass shows and arts festivals. She is very grateful to share her dance knowledge and passion while inspiring others to grow with their flow!
